The UBA EOYP, fondly known as the Chairman’s Party is not just another end-of-year celebration; it’s arguably Nigeria’s most anticipated December spectacle.
A fusion of energy, elegance, and entertainment, this annual rave features back-to-back performances by Nigerian international artists, the country’s top DJs, dancers, and MCs, and draws a high-octane crowd filled with A-list creatives, celebrities, and media elites.
At the heart of this experience is Cruise Events, the masterminds behind the show’s content and creative curation. Each year, I’m brought in to lead the technical execution, manage production, and call the show, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine from rehearsal to final bow. As Technical Director, I oversee all things tech, sound, lighting, rigging, visuals, making sure each element enhances the audience experience with precision and flair.
As Production Manager, I coordinate crew, gear, logistics, and schedules balancing creativity and efficiency while keeping the entire operation on track. And as Show Caller, I’m the unseen conductor at the FOH console, cueing every light change, camera shot, and artist entrance. My voice in the headset is what keeps the live show seamless and spectacular.
For an event where no expense is spared and no detail is too small, my role is to ensure every second on stage reflects the excellence the UBA EOYP is known for unforgettable, immersive, and simply iconic.
